Meribel Pharma Solutions in Solna develops pharmaceutical formulations and manufactures clinical trial materials on a contract basis for large and small pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

In the Analytical Chemistry & QC department, we primarily work on developing and validating analytical methods and performing chemical analyses for raw materials and products, as well as stability studies. The work is conducted in accordance with Ph. Eur., FDA, cGMP, and ICH. The laboratory is equipped with analytical techniques including UPLC, HPLC, GC, titration, and release testing. The work environment is characterized by good camaraderie, high competence, and short decision-making paths. We work closely with other departments in the organization and our clients. We now need to strengthen our team with a method developer in analytical chemistry.

Responsibilities

The position primarily involves method development, validation, problem-solving, technology transfer, writing proposals, and customer contact. Other laboratory tasks such as instrument responsibility and analyzing QC analyses are also part of the responsibilities, as well as contributing to improvements in our work processes and environmental efforts.

Qualifications

• University degree in analytical chemistry or organic chemistry
• Strong theoretical knowledge in analytical chemistry, especially chromatography
• Experience in analytical chemical development work and related writing tasks
• Communicative and fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish
• Proactive in tackling challenges and solving problems.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in GMP-compliant laboratory operations
• Experience servicing HPLC
• Experience in release testing and titration (e.g., Karl Fischer).

You should be able to work goal-oriented, independently, and have good collaboration skills. As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and have good initiative and drive.
